Questions
What does a custom home cost?
Our builds run from about $600,000 for a townhome-scale residence to $2,000,000 for a large single-family home, land not included. We give you a real budget before design starts, not after.
Do you build on my lot?
Yes, in Charlotte's in-town neighborhoods and nearby. Send the address and we will tell you what the lot supports before you spend anything.
Who designs it?
Kate Murphy, in-house. If you already have an architect, we build from their drawings.
How long does it take?
Less time than you would expect, because the planning happens before we break ground. Every decision, from the overall design down to fit and finish, is made and priced up front. That means a streamlined build with no stream of change orders driving up the budget and pushing out the move-in date. You get a schedule at the start, and we hold to it.
What don't you do?
Production tracts, out-of-market work, and design-only engagements. We are a small firm; we take on a few homes a year so Connor can be on every site.
